VELLA sample navy XL

The staple Särö skirt with sewn-in bows, darts on the back, two decorative front seams, asymmetrical horizontal seam and a flowy hem cut on the bias. Invisible zipper on the left side.

This dark navy colorway sample is size XL with a 85,5cm hem. Made from a heavy upcycled cotton blend, this sample is like a winter version of VELLA. It was made before we had our overlocker machine, so the finishing on the inside is a little rough. Doesn't affect the look or wear of the item.

The waist measurement is the most important measurement regarding fit, so we recommend comparing it to your own skirts and waist circumference. Typically your true size fits mid to high-waisted, and a size up makes the skirt sit low-waisted. See more pictures and examples with model measurements here.

MATERIAL

Exact percents unknown, since this sample was made from an upcycled fabric. We believe it's mostly cotton mixed with some synthetic fibers.

As well as being thicker and warmer than our usual cotton, this material is also less prone to wrinkling! Machine wash in 40 degrees, don't tumble dry.
