VELLA skirt

The staple Särö skirt with sewn-in bows, darts on the back, two decorative front seams, asymmetrical horizontal seam and a flowy hem cut on the bias. Invisible zipper on the left side.  


Available in black and light beige with two hem length options, 75cm or 85,5cm. The waist measurement is the most important measurement regarding fit, so we recommend comparing it to your own skirts and waist circumference. Typically your true size fits mid to high-waisted, and a size up makes the skirt sit low-waisted.

MATERIALS

Black - 100% cotton, machine wash in 40 degrees.

Beige - due to production and delivery issues, we often have to rely on deadstock batches of beige cotton/cotton blends. Naturally we're opting for an identical match to the original, but there may be slight changes in the hue of the fabric. Usually the beige one is 100% cotton as well and machine-washable in 40 degrees, but exact material info and care instructions will be provided upon arrival. We wanted to choose a flowy, summery, natural fiber for VELLA, and after testing numerous different blends, we discovered plain cotton-based fabrics to be the ideal option for this look. While being an amazing, light summer fabric, one of the natural properties of cotton is wrinkling. To maintain the crisp look, customer should be committed to ironing or steaming the skirt. Depending on personal style and preference, the skirt can definitely be worn with minor wrinkling as well, we think it actually adds a touch of Särö energy!
